We offer MOTs while you wait in our State-of-Art MOT bays. Relax in our comfortable waiting room while we carry out your car's MOT. We can also carry out most small repairs such as bulbs or wipers at the same time. Most small adjustments like headlamp aim or blocked washer jets are done free of charge.
To book an MOT please phone 01233 770171 or send us an email including your vehicle registration number, make and model so we can arrange a test slot to suit you.
All cars over three years old legally require annual MOT test. You can present your car up to 30 days prior to its expiry date to preserve its anniversary.
If you are unsure whether or not your car needs an MOT, give us a call and we can let you know. Alternatively, if you know your registration number, you can check out the due date on this website which is run by the DVSA.

- When does my vehicle need an MOT?
Once your car is three years old it requires and annual MOT inspection. To find out when that is, you can either give us a ring, or use the above link to view it on the DVSA website.

- What happens if my car fails?
If your car needs some TLC to pass its MOT, we can carry out most smaller repairs same day to get you back on the road. If, however, you need a more substantial repair, you have 10 working days in which to have it repaired and get a free re-test. All repairs are quoted and agreed before commencing any work.
- What are the most common failures?
The most common failures that we see are bulbs out, poor wipers and tyre condition. We stock a wide range of bulbs, wipers and tyres to get you back on the road quickly.
- What is class 4?
Class 4 is any car, or light commercial vehicle up to 3000kg and 9 seats inc driver. All campervans are a class 4 MOT.
- Can i drive my vehicle if it has run out of MOT
You are not allowed to drive your vehicle on a public highway without having a valid MOT.
The only exemptions are:
- to or from somewhere to be repaired
- to a pre-arranged MOT test
